The Boots

Thanks to Audrey who uploaded this pic to her blog and I grabbed it without permission.

this model of Cos-play is my aunt, Auntie Jay. She went back to sabah to celebrate Christmas...Hope you enjoy the trip Auntie Jay.

Focusing on the boots, I designed that boots, well not too proud of this solidly boots. I got the idea from Dota All-stars, the boots of speed (Which cost of 500 gold in that game and very important to escape from being assasinated at the early level.) but to make it look more elegant, i made it double side of laces. With the help of Lance and Louis, I finished them in 4 days.

Not forget to mention about the apparel, it was designed and done by Auntie Vianey. It is passionately sewn by her and it look like she could make a bussines with it. But i could see that the size matter here. Previously, Auntie jay tried it on and she fit it just nice. however, the clothes looked big here. Well Auntie Jay turned thinner in Sabah?

Ya...where the heaven the sword come from...it is suppose to be an archer. ermmm it is still nice and just like the cosplay in japanese anime. The costume represent Queen Nzingha of Matamba But it is very different from the original version(of course lar) yet Auntie Jay Used the profile of Queen Amazon Tin Hinan in respect to the theme of the year Christmas Ancient Royalty. But Both also military Queen and from Africa lorrr....Ermmm now what quizzing me, how far was this costume gone through the competition. After judging the other contestant it is very no hope for this Amazon Queen. ....Sob sob!

Nzingha, Amazon queen of Matamba, West Africa (1582-1663) She was of Angolan descent and fought against European slave traders. She was a very competent military leader

So, I had missed out this 2005 Christmas Celebration (actually from year 2001 to 2005) but at least the boots bring my Christmas Spirit back to Sabah. beware year 2006!!!!!
